Review And Publication Process

The article submitted completely with all supporting documents and copyright forms is received by the Editor. The article is sent to two reviewers for double-blind peer review by the editor. The corresponding author will get all feedback from the reviewers and is then required to send back the paper in its updated form within a week. The corrected paper will be resent to the reviewers, and the Subject Editor will then send them the final verdict.

The corresponding author receives the accepted piece in ready-to-print format for editing. The proofreading process gives you the chance to review and fix any errors in the manuscript that may have occurred. No revisions will be made after the manuscript is published in the journal, and the authors will be held accountable for any errors that are discovered at this point. The pieces that are accepted will be published online.

Stages of Peer Review from Submission to Acceptance or Rejection Decision

All article submissions will go through a thorough peer review procedure to guarantee that only high-quality publications are published. IJMR typically accepts about 30% of submissions, which is similar to other reputable international journals.

The steps of peer review after paper submission are described below.

Stage 1

Each article will be checked for similarities to other published works, including the author's own work, using plagiarism tools as soon as it is submitted. If any problems are found, the article will be rejected right away and may also be the subject of additional inquiry or corrective measures.

Stage 2

A full pre-screening check will be performed on the article, including a review of its grammar and formatting as well as a confirmation that it was not simultaneously submitted elsewhere. The manuscript will also be reviewed by one of the Journal Editor to ensure that it adheres to the journal's technical standards and scope.

The item will either be rejected right away or given back to the writers so they may make the necessary changes and resubmit, depending on the seriousness of any issues raised.

Stage 3

The article submission is given to an experienced Journal Editor after it has passed the initial prescreening procedure. The Jounral Editor thoroughly vets the article again to evaluate whether it is suitable for peer review based on its quality, technical substance, and scope. If the Journal Editor determines that the article is suitable for peer review, qualified reviewers with the required expertise will be asked to read the manuscript. If the article is technically sound, if the subject is covered in detail, and if the references are sufficient and appropriate, it will be accepted for review.

Stage 4

The article content and the reviewers' comments are both assessed to determine whether the article should be accepted or denied when the Journal Editor has received the reviewers' feedback (with a minimum need of 2 independent reviews), in accordance with our peer review method. Please remember that the Journal Editor makes the final choice and that the reviewers simply offer suggestions.
